Help With Your E-mail Address:

From time to time we get students who are new to the online enviroment and who do not know their e-mail address and incorrectly type their e-mail address on the application.

Your ISP (Internet Service Provider) or wherever you received an e-mail account has assigned you an e-mail address. You will need to check with them and write this down and keep it near your computer as you will need it anytime you sign-up for something online and want to receive a response.

E-mail Addresses:  E-mail addresses are always a personal identification name or username that you have chosen and they contain an " @ " symbol between this username and the e-mail service provider you received your internet service from such as -  AOL, Yahoo, Comcast, or Hotmail, etc.  For example:  johnsmith@aol.com.  There is also a variety of endings that can accompany e-mail addresses such as:  .com, .org, .net, etc. and these must also be correct.  All e-mail addresses must be precisely as you were given them by your internet service provider or you will be unable to communicate within the internet environment.

Websites:  An e-mail address NEVER starts with a "www" because this refers to a website and it stands for "world wide web".   This is for WebPages only.  An example of this is: www.amesbible.org.

If you type something like www.johnsmith.com  or www.johnsmith@aol.com, we will be unable to contact you because these are website addresses and not your location within the internet.  These are not valid e-mail addresses and if you enter them this way, we have no way of contacting you to even tell you that you entered your e-mail address incorrectly.

Upon enrolling at ABC, you should receive a welcome e-mail within 24 hours and our monthly newsletter.  If you added it incorrectly you will not receive this e-mail and you need to contact your e-mail service provider to receive your correct e-mail address.  Then proceed to again fill out the application correctly and ask us any questions you may have.  We can then send you a response.

Many students have asked questions but because they have consistently added the wrong e-mail address, we have not been able to respond.

We hope this has been a help to those of you who are new to the Internet.

Blessings in Christ,

Dr. Vince & Laura Rizzo
